A Foremost claims story: Hurricane Michael in Marianna, FL

On October 10, 2018, Hurricane Michael violently made landfall on the Florida Panhandle. During the storm, a tree fell and crushed Linda Smith's mobile home, making it unlivable.

Pam, Linda's sister, witnessed the destruction firsthand. "It was the scariest thing I’ve been through," she recalls. "I've never seen anything like it."

With nowhere to go and an uncertainty for the future, Linda turned to Foremost.
